Ein, aus mit einer Füllfeder handgeschrieben DIARIUM-Texten seit 6.3.2015 (letzte „Lange Nacht der GAV OÖ“-Lesung) kompilierter Text, gelesen von der Sprachausgabe des MacOS X 10.9.5, sowie der Sound einer mechanischen Schreibmaschine, auf der „nächster Text“ geschrieben wird, wurden auf Tonband aufgenommen.
A text, compiled from written-by-hand DIARIUM-texts since March 3, 2015 (the last „Long Night of GAV OÖ“ reading) and read by voice output of MacOS X 10.9.5 as well as the sound of „next text“ written on a mechanical typewriter, have been recorded on a tape recoder.
Bei der Lesung wird nur das Tonband abgespielt. Die in QR-Code übertragenen Texte werden auf Tafeln dem Publikum gezeigt. Zum Mitlesen liegen Blätter mit dem QR-Code auf.
This tape is played during the reading while the QR-encoded texts are displayed on tables.
Der „Maschinentext“ nimmt Bezug auf meine „wenn worte verbalken Digitale Lesung“ (Adalbert-Stifter-Haus Linz 1995) und die Edition der DIARIUM-Projekt Texte 2008 als DataMatrix(DM) mobile codes. Die fortlaufende Präsentation der Texte auf Tafeln ist eine Hommage an den Literaturnobelpreisträger Bob Dylan in Anlehnung an seinen Videoclip zu Subterranean Homesick Blues.
The „machine-text“ referrs to my „wenn worte verbalken Digital Reading (Adalbert-Stifter-Haus Linz 1995) and the edition of the DIARIUM-Project texts of 2008 as DataMatrix(DM) mobile codes. The continuously shown texts on sheets is a hommage to nobel prize for literature winner Bob Dylan referring to his videoclip of Subterranean Homesick Blues.
Meine Lesung thematisiert die Verschränkung der analogen mit der digitalen Welt, des Analogen und des Digitalen, wobei mittlerweile das Eine ohne das Andere nicht mehr auskommt. Darüber hinaus geht es um Zeit. Ihre Linearität und somit Berechenbarkeit von Ereignissen wird durch deren Abspeicherung sowohl bestätigt als auch aufgebrochen. Es entstehen zunächst leere mehrdimensionale Zeiträume in denen Ereignisse als (mit Inhalten) aufgeladene Zeit verortet und geortet werden können.
The issue of my reading is the interweaving of the analogue and the digital world, of the analogue and the digital, showing that meanwhile they can´t get along without each other. Moreover it is about time. By saving events on a media their linearity and thus calculability become both validate and broken up. For the moment empty multi-dimensional spaces of time emerge in which events as content-loaded time can be placed and located. That´s what the reading´s design tries to point out.
Dies versucht das Lesungsdesign zu verdeutlichen.
